Strong media interest in Fossefall

The past weeks have marked a powerful start for Fossefall and for the emerging Nordic AI industry. Since going live, the company has drawn strong attention from investors, partners and the media, reflecting growing interest in how the Nordics can build a sovereign and sustainable AI infrastructure for Europe. In just a short time, Fossefall has been featured across several leading technology and business outlets most recently invited to Finansavisen TV, Norway’s premier financial news channel, to discuss how the company’s AI factories could spark a new industrial era based on renewable energy and digital innovation. In the segment, CEO Øyvind L. Vesterdal outlined how Fossefall aims to transform clean Nordic hydropower into advanced compute capacity turning waterfalls into intelligence, and keeping ownership and value creation in the region.

“We are standing at a crossroads. Either we continue to sell our power cheaply to those who own the AI infrastructure or we use it ourselves to build a new industrial era based on renewable energy and technology leadership.”

Major partnership with Seekr Technologies

The strong media response follows the company’s announcement of a strategic
partnership and investment from U.S.-based Seekr Technologies, one of the most
advanced players in explainable and secure AI systems. The agreement includes a
capital investment, a multi-year purchasing commitment and licensing rights to
SeekrFlow™, Seekr’s enterprise AI platform.
Through the partnership, Fossefall gains exclusive access to technology that allows
full transparency and control over how AI systems reason, learn and make decisions
— a capability currently unmatched in Europe.

“We have secured both a key investor and a customer before launching our first AI factory. This partnership confirms the market’s confidence in our model — and positions Fossefall as Europe’s secure and sovereign alternative for large-scale AI infrastructure.”
