Investors show strong confidence in Fossefall

Momentum is building around Fossefall’s mission to turn Nordic clean energy into Europe’s AI backbone.

The newly established company has already attracted several prominent investors from Norway and Sweden with more joining soon.

Among the investors is Norwegian tech entrepreneur Stian Rustad, founder of 24SevenOffice and Done AI, who joins as both investor and strategic partner.

“I’m strongly convinced that the next wave of value creation will come from clean, high-performance AI infrastructure” says Rustad. “Fossefall combines industrial ambition with real technological depth and that’s why I’m all in.”

Fossefall has also gained the support of Swedish investor Roger Samuelsson, founder of SHL Group, a pioneer in medical technology. The growing group of Nordic investors share a common belief that Europe must take ownership of its own AI capacity and that the Nordics are uniquely positioned to lead the way.

“When people who have built and scaled major technology companies choose to invest, it confirms that our model has both industrial and financial strength,” says Fossefall CEO Øyvind L. Vesterdal. “They see that the future of AI must be built on clean energy, local ownership, and long-term value creation.”

Fossefall is currently developing 11 AI factory sites across Norway.

“This is just the beginning,” Vesterdal adds. “We’re building long-term value, both for our investors and for the societies that will benefit from a smarter, cleaner digital industry.”
